The new Mosaica is officially open. It has been a busy time for us since the beginning of January with moving Mosaica and having to renovate the new premises before we were able to move in. Many long hours and late nights have been spent trying to 'piece everything together' - excuse the pun. Thank you to those who have emailed, phoned or dropped into the shop to see how we were progressing. Your support and encouragement has been gratefully appreciated. We will be starting mosaic classes very soon. Please refer to the Classes page for further details. The first class we will be starting will be An Introduction to Mosaics. It will cover:
More Mosaics A course for those who have already dabbled in mosaics and would like to take their mosaic journey to another level. Glass Cutting For those who would like to use glass in their work and need to know the basics of how to cut glass into shapes that will enhance their mosaic work. Design A course for those who would like to understand the principles of design and how to use these when planning their mosaics. Designed to help those who struggle with new ideas and developing their own style. We are also planning to add children's classes in the school holidays and combined parent and child classes, where you can learn and work on a project together. So, there is plenty to keep us busy and we hope that you will come along and join us on a mosaic journey discovering more about this fascinating artform. Let us at MOSAICA help to piece together your creativity ... "Success is when reality exceeds expectations ..." Happy mosaicing ... |
